"Measure twice, cut once", Ryan's ethos is to just get it right the first time. His passion for capturing images started as a child, but really came to maturity becoming a news shooter in his early 20's. Ryan took his news gathering skills overseas where he worked for networks worldwide, chasing storms and news events across the Pacific and Asia. Since returning to Canada, Ryan continues to work for international broadcasters, attending multiple Olympics and shooting various documentary and reality series. Ryan is a regular on the sidelines of all major North American leagues for both major Canadian sports networks.  Ryan donates his time and experience shooting deep into the world's poorest slums and field hospitals for NGOs and non-profits. His passions include sports, craft beer flights, and of course, his two cats.
